VACANT TRAINEE POSITION

The European Studies Unit is recruiting a trainee for a period of 3 months (or more) starting from January 2026.

The trainee will be required to support some research related to strategic trade control (e.g. dual-use items, conventional weapons, torture-related items, cultural goods, conflict minerals, sanctions, Foreign Direct Investment screening), attend eventual conferences, and support other unit-related activities.

The trainee shall be fluent in English (at least B1 level) and have at least a master’s degree in one of the following fields: political science, law, or economics.

The traineeship will be covered by a grant (for three months) and help with logistics (accommodation, transport) may be provided.
