On 19th October 2023, the European Commission published the Third Annual Report on the application of the EU Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Screening Regulation2. Differently to the previous year in which the report was published together with the dual use report, this year it is released, jointly with the statistical update3 on the implementation of the EU Export Control Regulation of dual use items (Regulation (EU) 2021/821).
